I enjoyed the history immensely. Living in Asheville and having knowledge of the Vanderbilt legacy here, it was eye opening to learn more about the Vanderbilt legacies in other parts of the US. The only chapter that I felt carried on a bit long was the one focused on the Americas cup sailing competition. Beyond that, the storytelling was solid and I learned a great deal.
