Personally, I love Netflix's adaptation of Persuasion.

Lady Catherine dancing a version of the twist. I would have paid to see that. *lolololololololo*

I think we can all agree that Jane Austen's life was much more multidimensional than past family, friends, & critics may have portrayed. No one lives in a vacuum. I love the indepth research and how logically and straight forward Ms. Looser puts it together in this book. I wonder if Ms. Austen perhaps did not see herself in a place to judge others' behaviors (In regards to her dastardly characters)
