Why is the girl's hair gasping?! Am I just confused?

I mean I have made it slightly farther, like 122. But I feel I may need to reread the last 20 pages or so. But god damn it. I am bored to tears. I wanted with everything inside me for this to be awesome. I am just not feeling it. The random switch between writing and then writing in a play style format REALLY takes me out of the story. I am trying my absolute best to get through this before the end of the year.
