Built a scene without over focusing on irrelevant details, thus keeping the focus in the plot and the characters where it belongs. I hate when an author spends too much time describing minor details about the landscape of every single scene when those details aren’t important to the plot. It makes the book drag on. This author doesn’t do that. You get enough detail to form a good picture while keeping focus.

Has been an intriguing read so far. Plot was slightly predictable but with some interesting twists. It was very emotional, managing to pull on your heartstrings and make you relate to the characters pain. Hopefully with a touch of grief and despair. Well designed characters that you wanted to get to know.
