Violet looked about her. Saw the worn Turkey rug, the old bits of furniture that she had known all her life. It was pleasant when things did not change too much.

Just got home, Julie and I guess I have this one on my shelves- must be one of the ones I bought at this year’s book sale. What a lovely surprise for me.

Antoinette: what luck! I'm down to my last 100 pages and I'm trying to slow down the process, but I'm a fast reader and I'm at the beach, so it is what it is!
We are in the throes of winter- I want to join you on that beach!!
Ha! I get it. I do want to be clear, though, that we aren't WARM on the beach. It's cold and windy, but it's still beautiful.
