So far it’s so much better than book 1, the settings are completely different, it’s a completely new story now. Where book 1 felt a little bit YA, dark academia, hunger game-ish, this feels more like epic fantasy with new worlds and very interesting magic systems. I like books where there’s progress and improvements, I don’t wanna jinx it but it could be a 6 star.
