Lindbergh, once a national hero, was now despised by many in America because he refused to ride the anti-German wave that was sweeping over America: “We do not wish to be Pharisees, but a people who would let such a thing happen have every cause to attend to their own affairs. As regards the rest of the world, if it loves the Jews so much, let it take them!”

The concentration camp at Dachau was “well organized.” The discipline of the “inmates was excellent and their health was apparently satisfactory.” These inmates were largely Communists, and inasmuch as in Germany the officials regarded communism as Jewish inspired, this fact had sinister implications for the large Jewish population
