I think this book would have been better if it were a collection of poems instead of a prose-formatted novel. The constant jumps in the narrative: dreams, hallucinations, flashbacks, parallel stories told via interviews breaks up the narrative too much and the reader looses interest… “gorilla in the phone book” effect. The language is poetic, so it should be written in verse IMO
