I like that ford is giving a little more tension. It feels superficial still. The author is careful in writing the story so it doesn’t completely degrade the female character which I support but it’s written immaturely. Easy and fun to read however.

Juvenile/superficial start, but building a lot of tension between the characters. The development of the daughter is interesting; I’ve read so much psychological thriller I’m convinced it’s a con ploy. The tension makes it a page turner.
