1. I really like is empathetic approach

It bothers me that he claims a certain subsection is going to “explain the why / the science” but in large part suggests food swaps and substantiates it with “one study said…” without saying anything else about the study. Guidance is awesome (ex food swaps) but it’s not the same thing as scientific evidence…

Organic may be better- but I think that needs to be substantiated because we have a culture of people just repeating something is “the best way” without knowing why….
He elaborates more on his position on GMOs and organic, which I appreciate. In chicken, the issue is a lack of omega 3 relative to omega 6.
In soy, the issue is a matter of the crop being developed to be resilient to pesticides, so it can be sprayed indiscriminately.
Dairy- still no elaboration but I’m wondering if it’s the same issue as chicken


Re: Making macaroni, He says “of course I use organic butter and cheese”. Of course? What do you mean of course ? He’s assuming the reader already onboard with organic dairy being a better option .
