Part 2 was pretty good. Miles is an interesting villain and a good one for the very short first book. This part is the escape of the fancy life that Wax loved and his transition back into a lawman. Some highlights are Wax’s talk with Marasie at the end of part 2 and also the fight with Miles on the train. Wayne is proving to possibly be my favorite character so far. More questions, there’s always another secret!

The book is good - quite a bit of a departure from Stormlight but a little more action this time around. Wax an Wayne are both interesting characters with more to them after part 1. I’m expecting a big twist at the end of part 2 to drive to part 3. I’m predicting that Wax will become a full Mistborn at some point and will meet with Harmony to become a full Mistborn. Maybe even a full Feurchemist!
