How are you finding it? Worth the read?

Sorry - I didn't realize that you were getting updates for every time I updated how far I was in my books...lol!
Anyway - it is good but it is taking me a long time to get through it. She does an excellent job of putting a human face to poverty. It is reality but also feels depressing rather than hopeful in many ways.
Some of it is very American-focused (understandably) but also have seen the same things here in Canada (impact of drugs, especially meth and closing many psychiatric residential institutions without funding an appropriate level of community support).
