I've realized that Rick just uses 1-3 things from the Odyssey in every book. It's like an Easter egg hunt for me. The idea that Annabeth, Grover, and Tyson were his Ithaca made me nearly cry. Like... what do you mean? Too sweet

Some of these things are very hard to picture in my brain lol. A lot of the creatures in the first couple of books I had used in Age of Mythology (computer game), so I had a visual. I guess I need to look up some pictures
