Struggling with no linear plot line-ish. It’s just character exposition on a bunch of people in the town. I want to say “just tell me how it ends!” but there’s nothing to end - there’s only a faint pulse of a story line.

Yes. I thought the same thing - it is not a plot type of book. It is more like creating a painting. The end is powerful. It comes together at the end.
