Genji is a slimeball. He is a party prince, demoted from real responsibility, and wealthy enough to make his perverted wishes come true. The style of writing is so good. So colourful. So funny. So elegant.

Each chapter is named after a conquest. A woman, girl, boy (if no-one else is available at the time), or child who he chases after and eventually gets, only to discard, store for later, or keep in service.

Only 1,360 pages and it’s going to be a wet summer. Let’s see if I can do this.
