Six Seven. (I have nothing valuable to say about these last two pages). but, not seeing your family for TWO YEARS?? Actually, it makes sense because she’s moved to Boston, but this guy’s older sister, Hanna Li, has clearly not had any contact, NOT EVEN HER BROTHER, is just a little insane to me. Just a little bit, but one day she says she’s dating a black man—I can’t even say this scenario’s unrealistic

Not talking about this book, just this specific page because my opinion could change, but why are the main characters in some books or shows the most VANILLA people. Looking at the cover of the book (Different from Goodreads), I can tell he’s a little nerdy, socially awkward, and barely any friends, BUT I SWEAR, THERE SHOULD BE OTHER ASIANS AT YOUR SCHOOL, YOU’RE IN SOUTH CALI??? Needa be slapped if I’m wrong.

Frank Li, both his English and Korean name representing lucky numbers with the number of characters in his name. Previously got a lot farther, but I needed to purchase the book😰. His Korean parents are also stereotypical (which is almost realistic to me); good grades, a little racist, and wanting him to date a girl of the same ethnicity. For some reason, I just don’t like Frank Li so far.

The librarian said she loved it, so I guess I'm reading it now, too. It was decent so far, not stuff I would expect from a senior, but he's an 'Asian weird kid in California,' so I guess I will have to accept it. I just know I probably won't like Frank Li as much because of that, though, LMAO. But, but, but, there is no, in the helly, way that "Lake Girlfriend" is actually a real thing.
