This book makes the government seem pretty bad. They have made this drug called revive and this girl has died a couple of times and I can't even begin to imagine what she feels when she keeps dying and coming back to life. At 4 years old she was Daisy McDaniel who died in a bus crash. Last name changed choked on a grape at 5 drowned at 10 and at 15 dies to an allergic reaction. I can't imagine the pain she has felt.

I think this story is a romance. I thought it was going to be more like action because Daisy has died 5 times and brought back to life, but it ends up being she loves this boy who is also her best friend's brother, but then the story kind of gets into romance when her friend dies from cancer and Daisy and Audrey's brother Matt end up getting really close and dating and she even trusted him with the secret of Revive.

!SPOILER WARNING! The book took it to a different direction. They made me think that Audrey would survive by having Daisy take the revive drug and she kept begging Mason to let her try it so it made me think that Audrey would end up surviving, but then all of a sudden it just said, "It happened at midnight, that's when she died." I really thought that the way Matt and Daisy tried it would help.

This book really sets into place how unfair life can really be. Daisy has died about 5 times and Matt's sister Audrey is about to die to cancer, but the drug that brought Daisy back to life won't work on Audrey and Matt is mad at Daisy because he thinks that revive will work on Audrey even though it won't but he doesn't believe her. Then it goes into the fact that Matt could've been lying to Daisy. It's going bad.

This book has a very interesting story. They're calling this guy god who brings people who died back to life, but then Daisy has the burden of her best friend having cancer, but she can't be brought back to life because you have to be healthy when you die which makes the story get pretty sad. It would be terrible to know that there is something to bring someone back to life, but it won't work on who you want it to.
