He knows a lot about her, stuff that got never mentioned in Shatter me, stuff I asked myself while reading the first book, so I’m thinking: Why is this only a novella? Why did those information never got addressed in Shatter me? Anyways, I can get over that

Aaron’s father is even worse than you’d expect him to be. I found the line “… that maybe this time he’ll actually let me die.” quite interesting. So Aaron has a death wish but I thought he wouldn’t give his people the satisfaction of his death? What exactly now?
