This book is a 1st person exaggerated account through a 3rd person (Socrates is the speaking character written by Plato, weird). Book 1 was slightly lame in my personal opinion. Book 2 has been far more interesting in the building of a “State” and the determination of where Justice/Injustice entire the lives of those in this “State”.

Socrates is an asshole. But he is so good at breaking down arguments. If he was a bit kinder about it he probably would’ve lived longer. But this guy simply throws your argument back in your face, slapping you with why it’s wrong, and then provides no correct answer. He will then wait for you to come up with another answer, and break that one. Masterful ragebaiting. Dare I say an artist of it.
