Excellent! My appreciation for Beatriz Williams’ writing grows stronger with each of her books I read. This book immediately engaged me and sparked interest in the characters. There are two settings: mid century Egypt & present day New England are linked by the 2 main female characters. Having lived 5 years in Cairo, Egypt, I knew this book was for me.
