whew, i’m glad i got to end my 2025 year of reading on a decent note!
what a ride this book was. unrequited love books always sting but i think this is the first one i read where the person is in love with them for 20 years before something happens…like wow. had me damn near being okay with huggie moving on after the “third act breakup” lol but ofc i’m glad he and melanie made it work.

i will say though that surprise pregnancy SURPRISED THE FUCK OUTTA ME i was SHOCKED! should’ve seen my eyes when melanie dropped that info lmaooo. and i honestly should’ve known that would happen after they had sex without protection but i was hurting reading about them hurting after their “breakup.”
