Would you believe I'm still only on chapter 2? Still not a fan of the writing style but I will admit that I was very tired when I started this and it is not as terrible as I originally thought. There's a lot of direct quoting, more so than original writing honestly, and we still have not even approached the events of the kidnapping. Very hesitant to continue, but I don't DNF books...
