prediction: pae is actually edric's discarded and hidden daughter + kitt's half sister, and kai is not edric's son at all. (im on the chapter b/w 33 and 34 - at the last edric one i thought the baby might be paedyn, but was concerned abt incest, thought it might be his mother's unfaithfullness? this definitely solves it though but what about the marriage??)
