Emma left for vacation with her mom today and my own personal circumstances are causing this part of the book to strike fear in my heart <\3

Frankenstein’s monster seems to be used as a mirror for humanity— seeing how he knows nothing from creation but grows to learn of pleasures and horrors.

The dream he has right after his creation frightening him with depictions of death and worms furthering the idea humans aren’t to create life in this way!!!!

I love the contrasting words and feelings he’s experiencing when creating the monster; viewing it as beautiful but feeling “horror” as this act is outside of human action.
