THIS BOOK IS SO TERRIBLE. I'm simultaneously offended (the way main character talks about how lesbians are supposed to look, etc) and horrified because it's so awful but at the same time it's so hilariously bad. I'm studying this at uni. Third year uni. WHY.

What was the point of this book? What was the actual point? Nobody learnt anything, the characters didn't change because they weren't characters, they were just names. Awful book. Awful, awful book.

I'm sorry, Mr Hartinger, but if you want to convince me your characters are smart, actually make them smart and stop getting the protagonist to tell me. (Also, protagonist is apparently a "Nerdy Intellectual" but he is a very large idiot who is not even a character. All he is is gay, there is no depth at all.)
