Wow. I don't know a lot about 70's era India/Pakistan or the US's relationship with it. Now I feel like I'm a fly on the walls of the White House as Pres. Nixon and Kissinger growl about how racist and amoral and opportunistic they are. Novelistic in its pacing, characterization, and scope. Powerful and detailed and genuinely outraged.
