The suspense to know who dies next keeps me reading !!
Love the balance between comedy, seriousness,& horror
This book gives me a bunch of vibes. From Disney’s a Haunted mansion, to the clue movie, to the glass onion series, to scooby doo lol, & (definitely not the last one but I have to end the analogy) the SaW movies. A little bit of everything & a bit predictable.
Hoping for a plot twist

Is the house haunted? Is Mortimer Queen really dead? Is the house haunted ”alive”? Who is Melanie to Mortimer?? Soo many questions in the 1st chapter.
