Finished with Act 2, Scene 2. First Shakespeare read—I really love it so far. I didn’t expect to enjoy it (reading it for AP Lit.) but on top of liking it, I’m really invested in it. I think it’s interesting how complicated things are, how while Iago is obviously the villain of the story, Othello isn’t completely innocent of wrongdoings either. Also interesting how everyone’s in love with Desdemona.
