An intriguing story told to date in a child’s storybook style set in the near future where robots are viewed as essential intelligent pets. Yet with every upgrade the robots are getting smarter and understanding better how we are often ruled by our emotions. Will this go down Asimov’s I Robot path? I can’t wait to find out.

I can see already why this so highly recommended, it’s so sensitively written. To date its style is of children’s story and it kind of reminds me of the re-runs of Lassie I watched as a child where children and Lassie (the dog) could understand each other. There are hints that this tale could get darker, but time will tell. Happy New Year everyone 😊
