Finished Chapter on ideas. The chapter of spaces is interesting, starting with outlining the role of class in the appeal of feminism and debates about women’s role or permission to be in a workplace

The conclusion of ch 1 on feminist dreams is that there have been many feminist uptopian ideas or dreams documented but, while one author calls it a common dream, it is evident that the differences in the dreams highlights underlying tensions and disparaties in the feminist movement. For example white american feminist women not acknowledging black women as equal.
