Only ash….’" I spent an entire fourth of this fucking book thinking Sarah J Maas was actually abiding by actual fucking fey lore/mythology, but noooooo, we have to make these faeries resistant to iron and able to lie, and FOR WHAT. This part is actually so refreshing. There's finally a goddamn REASON for Tamlin and Feyre to have feelings for each other instead of just Feyre gushing over "the maleness of his body" or some shallow shit like that. He knows now she's into painting, and is going to indulge that interest by getting her the resources to do so!! THAT'S a much better reason for Feyre to start crushing on him!!
