my GOD this book is devastating, haven't cried yet but I know it's supposed to be sad. and honestly apart from the occasional cringy line, the writing is really good

chapter 10 genuinely made my heart burst. I'm so conflicted, some scenes are unbearably cringe but then some scene, like the one about the footprints in the sand, are just so beautiful
