A major influence on C. S. Lewis but not for its theology. There are many non-Christian voices in SF, but rarely are they consistent. Asimov's scientific rigor can't escape the basics of human morality and the uniformity of nature. The drug filled fever dreams of P. K. D. don't achieve freedom from rationality. A Voyage to Arcturus feels very different. A gnostic text through and through and very unpleasant reading.
