You can’t control how others act, but you can control how you do. Love in the way you wish to be loved. Give thanks in the way you wish to be thanked. Be kind in the way you wish to see kindness shown to you. Stand up for others in the way you hope others may stand up for you. Action starts with an individual. Act with your best intentions.

Will determine how you live

Nobody else can tell you how to live your journey, what motivates you, what brings inspiration into your mind. It will be hard to find some days, and on others it will flourish. It is your inner child, inner peace, a reason for you to wake up each day.

The past does not define you. There will be people who once knew you intimately, but they don’t know you now. They may remember a chapter that once spoke to them, but they don’t get to know the chapters that are coming. You get to write those.

The mountain is to climb, not to carry on your shoulders.
