Why is it that the graphic novel starts out strong at five stars and as soon as I get close to finishing it, the author adds baggage of information that isn’t relevant and it bores the shit out of me. Book 2 was the exactly the same way!!

Now I'm wondering if it's like they showed it in the TV series. I'm gonna be on this within the next week and find out! 😁

It’s was very detailed and rather brutally graphic and I loved it!

I started reading the 'Walking Dead' graphic novels and they were almost word-for-word exactly like the TV show and I quickly bailed. What's the point in that? If you're one of those that wants the movie/TV shows to be exactly like their books, you'll be disappointed with this TV series. I want them to be different so I can enjoy different "versions" of the story/characters. 🤷♂️
Not sure about graphic novels but I do want the movies to be like the book. I recently read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and was frustrated that the movie was not like the book.

I just don't wanna watch/read the exact same story I've already watched/read. 😆 I've read The Stand and seen two TV series versions ... all different and all very enjoyable for me. I knew quickly that the Walking Dead graphic novels would be boring for me because they were the exact same thing I'd already seen.
