One moment he's interesting and relatively objective (although this is definitely a book of it's time) and taking into account sociological differences and their weight against scripture/sin, and the next he brings his own prejudices forward in homophobic and deeply sexist statements. Not sure why this book has a reputation for being a great Christian apologetic when he goes against scripture for his own biases.
