S.E. Harmon just reminded me why she’s one of my all-time favorite authors. This story weaves intrigue, mystery, and romance together so seamlessly, and the character banter had me genuinely laughing out loud. Both MMCs are believable and deeply heartwarming, and the ending delivers a perfectly satisfying HEA. What a wonderful way to close out the year. 5 stars.
