Im crying real tears rn

Sometimes when I read fantasy, especially YA fantasy, I forget that there is actual barbarity in the human condition and sometimes being reminded of that on paper makes me sick to my stomach.

I think that being this angry at book characters is a good thing because it means im invested in the book itself but goddamn if some of these people dont make me want to skip to the end just so I dont have to deal with foolishness

Nah because actually everyone is pissing me off

I HAVE JUST LEARNED THAT HEIR WHICH IS A BOOK IVE HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT TAKES PLACE IN THE FUTURE OF THIS WORLD WITH APPEARANCES BY SOME OF THESE CHARACTERS. THIS IS MY MOTIVATION TO FINISH THIS SERIES
