If i were to give the author some tips i would say:
- get iris to be more of a critical thinker. Have a lessons and then have her break them down in her mind. Have her notice more than just the lessons.
- get her exploring on her own, yes she needs to prove herself and learn and she needs the Blacks but also, get her to learn proactively
