Already striking me as much more romantic than the last book. Jo’s boys have grown older, & some of them have fallen in love w/Meg’s daughters or Jo’s 1-2 “foster” girls. Feels less didactic. Finding it interesting (read: funny) that some of the boys have already flat out been described as duds. I guess not everybody can grow up to be a mother’s dream. Fascinating inclusion of Native American culture too.
