I'm very curious to see what you think of this one. It takes place in an area very near where I spent my teen years. The description of the people and area depressed me and I didn't have the heart to finish it. I'd love to see what someone who never lived here thinks of the book!

That's very weird, Theresa, you are the complete opposite of what I think of while reading this 😊. You're absolutely right, it's quite depressing and I'm trying to take the characters as they are. It feels like a documentary where every animal hunts the other, lol, and you can't get attached to anyone really.
