Well, I had to reread basically the whole Rachel Carpenter Flowers chapters to get a good handle with all that sermonizing. Went back and reread the character list (now that I have more context), and now that Nathaniel has fled his impromptu re-baptism things are really picking up! Shaping up to be an amazing read!

After all of you talking about how the other two in The Trilogy were not as transcendent as "There Is A Tree..." I was somehow expecting this to be breezier. I was wrong. This is one VERY dense book so far...
