fair enough, the queerbaiting sucked, but it's not even that I'm upset about D: they chose the safest option for the ending, which just feels cowardly. the fan theories had me more locked in

I'm not going to argue, but it is queerbaiting, as the definition is 'appealing to LGBT audiences while maintaining ambiguity about the characters' sexuality' essentially, mike not expressing his feelings is quite literally doing that because there are flaws in mileven; he literally couldn't even tell her he loves her in her final scene. but I'm also annoyed that vickie disappeared from the epilogue, and it seems like an off-screen breakup. great, more erasure of queer representation...

i completely get your point!! some people arent good with saying i love you and thats totally fine. mileven is a really good example of a real tween/ teenage relationship esp in the 80s 😌 idk what happened with vickie and robin, but it wasn’t explicitly said they broke up so 🤷‍♀️

me too, everytime someone got close to dying, i thought it was the end for them but they ended up getting saved.
someone really important should have died. the ending was emotionless for me

FSSS many people couldve died and i think im only disappointed with that aspect bc the duffer bros are a bit scared… but at the same time im so hqppy nobody died HAHA

they're scared of getting attacked by the fandom. they killed kali cuz they know no one gives a fuck about her 😭
