My goal was 100, but I only made it to 89. I had a very busy summer which pushed me back from reading as much as I usually do. But, I did read a lot of books from my tbr that have been on it for 1+ years!

Pretty short, only 3 books this year, all audiobooks. Planning to read much more this year (hopefully 50-60). Started off my new year with a book. Trying to minimize screen time to maximize book time!
My goal was 25 and I read 22 so very close. I had a ton of reading slumps which made me very frustrated with myself. Every time I would start a physical book on my ebook I just couldn’t finish it even if it was a good book. That’s when I started listening to audiobooks at the end of the year, I kind of wish I had started this earlier. But I used to not like audiobooks but now I love them.
I have been in a reading slump for the last three years and I have not been able to finish books in time, often left them halfway through even if they were interesting. I think scrolling on social media has been massively to blame, my attention span is at an all-time worst. I am more realistic with my reading goals this year, 5 books. More than that would just be a bonus.
Well. It started out terribly. I was stuck in a reading slump until about August-ish. And then I really ramped up and read like 10 books in the last two months of the year. So it ended pretty well! Hopefully will carry that momentum into the New Year.
My goal was 30 and I read 30! It was a slow-ish year at first, I read an average of 3 monthly from Jan-April, I completely stopped in May and June, kicked back off with 5 in July, read virtually nothing in August and September, read about 3 in October, then read a whopping 8 in November and 5 in December
Hit 16! I spent most of the year reading academic articles and nonfiction, but around August I got back into classic fiction with Christie. The fiction bug got me and I whipped through ten books from November-December so I'm pretty stoked. About halfway through a Zora Neale Hurston book right now, so starting 2026 strong :)
