Updating historic current reading list as I haven't been on in a while.
I intended to write a thorough review for this at the time, but life again got in the way, However a summary of my thoughts:
- Probably the weakest book so far, and a worrying continuation of a downwards trajectory. Series might not be for me.
- Felt more functional for the plot than character driven
- Rehashes a lot but ending signals a shift

Warhost of Vastmark is a difficult book for me to talk about. Book 1 was phenomenal, and book 2 was a good (if slightly flawed) successor. This book however is simply the extended conclusion to book two, and spends an excruciatingly long time re-treading the same well established facts of the characters and setting to tell nothing new. It genuinely put me in a reading slump.
