Believe me when I say that this one somehow manages to surpass Lolita in the depth of its descriptive lasciviousness/lewdness….also perhaps I’m reading into it too literally to overlook certain aspects of the incredibly fraught relationship at the novel’s center but praying that the allegorical significance becomes more apparent soon
