😭😭😭 I was hoping Esi would end up with Kayode. That Kayode would leave the new girl he had just met for Esi and they’ll continue their love story, but then, it is what it is.

I don’t like what Esi’s father is doing fr, he’s cheating on his wife, yet scolding his daughters and can’t wait to marry them off. He doesn’t care about their education anymore except for Esi. To him, the value of his daughters lie in the kitchen, they should be in the kitchen only and he somehow excluded Esi, maybe because she’s intelligent, but he could have encouraged his other daughters too.

I understand the fact that Esi’s father wants the best for his children, but I think he’s doing it wrongly. How many of his daughters will he send out because of unwanted pregnancy? He could have called them, talk to them as a father, let them know that his gender is full of lies and deceits, and how his daughters shouldn’t fall for their tricks. I’m not done with the book though, but let’s continue…
