So far, this is one of the most infuriating books I have ever read. Painful detail about every tantrum Roscoe Conkling ever threw. Blatant scalding and unwarranted criticism of any figure who wasn’t 100% supportive of Garfield. Additionally, the book is flooded with spelling and grammatical errors, including a description of Conkling’s blonde “bread.” If you enjoy reading catty drama, this book is for you.
