How is this book?

Sad and bitter so far. I find it serendipitous that I read The Awakening last week as it is mentioned in chapter two. I am intrigued enough to continue reading and find out what happens in the main characters life. Does it get better? Does she find her happy or at least find a way to be content? Does her relationship with her family improve? Does she figure out her sister's secrets?
