Learned a lot of behind the scenes for CODE Veronica. I forgot how many random ports and exclusivity stupidity was behind a lot of these titles. never played it for dreamcast, I played when it was ported to PS2. Also crazy how they tried to port resident evil 2 to gameboy. Even crazier, canceling a game after being developed to 90% completion.

Never played the Survivor resident evil games, so it was interesting to read about them. Some of them never came states side. I do have vague memories of dead aim though. Love that the series does so many spinoff games. Ended this reading session with the GameCube history of resident evil. How divisive RE0 was and crazy to think a remake of part one only six years after initial release. 🤯

Resident Evil as a franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary. What better way to celebrate than to connect my love for video games with my passion for reading. Starting with non-fiction! Going through the history and behind the scenes of the series. Although my nerdy ass knows a ton of trivia, i’m finding little trinkets of new information. Getting teary 🥹. Resi-fan for life!!!
